Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT)
WTTI performs Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT), in house or at our customer's facility. MT inspection is commonly used for weld examinations, small or large scale production parts, various structures, casting materials, pipelines and components in the automotive, casting, and forging industries. MT detects surface and subsurface discontinuities in ferrous materials. MT is utilized for its cost savings benefits by detecting issues before they become a problem for the customer.
All examinations are conducted in accordance with regulatory code requirements (AWS, ASME, API, ANSI, NAS, MIL STD, etc.) and the customer’s quality assurance standards.
Qualified personnel, reliable results: Our knowledgeable inspectors possess extensive training, numerous years of experience in the field and wide-ranging industry expertise.
